The Wilf Family Department of Politics seeks qualified candidates for four tenure-track assistant professor positions.  We welcome applications in all sub-fields; however we hope to hire at least one assistant professor in American Politics and another assistant professor in International Relations.  The department seeks excellent scholars with a rigorous theoretical and empirical approach to the study of politics.  The positions are to begin September 1, 2017 pending budgetary and administrative approval.

Candidates must possess a PhD by September 2017, in political science or a cognate discipline. S/he will have a record of excellent research that has been published or otherwise disseminated in a manner appropriate to career stage, and have the potential to be a future leader of the profession in his or her field of expertise. Candidates should also have proven ability as excellent teachers at undergraduate and/or graduate level.
