Politics Data Lab Rules
- No food of any kind is allowed in the data lab.
- No open drinks are allowed in the data lab.
- Do not use your cell phone in the lab or just outside the entrance.
- Be quiet and respectful of your fellow students. Keep conversations to a minimum.
- If you find something that seems lost or is not yours, then please return it to the graduate politics office.
- Be responsible when printing. Do not send overly long print jobs. Do not print out a few
draft of your paper each time you change one comma! If printer privileges are abused, they will be rescinded.
- Under no circumstances are lab users to add software of any kind to the lab machines. Data Center staff
are the only people authorized to add or delete software. If you need to have some software added, send a
request to fas.pol.computing@nyu.edu. Violating
this rule will result in the loss of lab privileges.
